The Best of Underground Hip-Hop: My response to another racist Nicki Minaj fan

hiphopfightsback:

darkjez:

No white person, not a single fucking one of you honkies, EVER has the right to accuse a Black artist of being a “sellout”

YOU DO NOT HAVE THAT RIGHT

YOU DO NOT HAVE THAT RIGHT

YOU DO NOT HAVE THAT RIGHT

YOU DO NOT HAVE THAT RIGHT

YOU DO NOT HAVE THAT RIGHT

YOU…

She cheated young women out of having an insightful hip-hop role model like males have with Nas, Kendrick, or any of the many other intellectual hip-hop scholars. Hip-hop is void of any well known female hip-hop artist currently making music that doesn’t spit bullshit (I’m EXTREMELY glad Kreayshawn’s joke of a career died along with her equally dumb fanbase). This is a serious problem in hip-hop I’m addressing. I desperately want there to be a legitimate female presences in hip-hop, and Nicki Minaj is anything but legitimate. She assured that she’d become a disgrace to all music once she greedily signed herself away with her YMCMB contract.

Hold up hold up.

Why the fuck are you mad for Nicki Minaj signing onto YMCMB? They wanted her. She didn’t ask to be on that label. Lil’ Wayne saw promise in her and asked her to join. Get that straight.

Second. I would like you to stop using Black Hippy as a comparison factor between the two groups. You don’t get to dictate what’s good hip hop and what’s not, ESPECIALLY since you were never apart of the Hip Hop Culture to begin with. You’re a white boy from Ohio. What the hell do you know about the roots of hip hop, why it started, and different underlying messages that even mainstream hip hop artists spit today? You will never understand it. And seeing how close-minded you are it’s gonna take a eons for you to even get a glimpse of it.

I’m tired of white people like yourself thinking your high and mighty because you listen to people like Nas and Kendrick Lamar, when you don’t even get the messages they’re trying to say. Conscious Hip Hop is not here for white people to use as an attack against black people who listen to people like Wale, Chief Keef, etc.

Back to the whole Nicki Minaj thing. I think you need to a take a step back and realize why you think this way about her. Because all you’re voicing is misogynistic and racist opinions.

Leave Hip Hop and Rap alone and go listen to some Nickleback or some shit like that. Shit you can understand and actually relate to.
